Foreword Within this volume, We, the editors of the 1956 DIAL, have attempted to record accurately the events, both large and small, which have marked the school year. It is our hope that this book will, in the future, remind both Sixth Formers and Under- formers of events of the past. Perhaps the special significance is reserved for the members of the graduating class, the Class of 1956. In this DIAL is a record of the aspirations and achievements of this class from its inception in 1951, its Work through the years, to its Sixth Form year.
