,. Honor Society Sponsors any School ctivities The National Honor Society had many activities. They gave a Watermelon Feast for students making the honor roll the first six weeks, gave a gift to a worthy senior, purchased gold cords and tassels for Senior members, gave a plaque for the class having the highest grade average for each six weeks, and had a concession stand at each basketball game, Officers ofthe Chapter are Gwinette Lovett , president, Jackie Hughes, vice -presidentg Sarah Walker, secretary, Kathy White, treasurerg and Kathleen Smith, reporter. New members installed in the fall were Mike Spearman, Gwinette Lovett, Linda Hadley, Cynthia Spence, Kathy White, Sarah Walker, and Emmitt Autrey. ,..' , F.B.L.A. Club Sponsors Many Yearly Events Mr. Darell Bulls brought an installation team, from ENMU, to perform a formal installation of club officers. Students being installed as officers were Terry Niece, presi- dentg Linda Hudson, reporter, Don Chandler, secretary: Millie Autrey, vice-presidentg Kay Bush, tre asurerg and Marquitta Wall, historian. Rep. Hoyt Pattison Roberts, Farmer Chosen ls ss Mr. and Miss F.B.L.A. Callalya Roberts and Gary Farmer were chosen Mr, and Miss FBLA by a committee of three business persons in February. They entered the state contest in Portales in March FB Speaks at Banquet Hoyt Pattison, state representative, spoke to students at their annual banquet.
