F.F.A. Boys Top Records Mr. Eddie West, advisor, was a very busy person during the fair. Texico F.F.A. boys broke all records at the Curry County Fair to the tune of about 357,000 from the stock sale and prize money. The boys earned 12 championship ribbons, 14 first places, 5 second places, 4 third places, and three fourth places. They got first place on their fair booth featuring a model corral showing how a large number of cattle may be handled ef- fectively with one or two men. Top boy was Gary Skaggs with S212 in prize money. He won first and second on Hereford steers and first on a Chester White gilt.
