Their party was typical of parties in all the rooms with beautiful trees, appropriate games, and treats for everyone. -36 'wa Sixth graders, John Earl Winegeart and Elaine Brown, got a big thrill out of Valentine Day along with all students in the room, Lorene Eylicio posts a valentine for a friend in the Fifth grade room.

Events included in this unique track meet were softball throw, broad jump, high jump, 25-yard dash, 50-yard dash, 75-yard dash, 100-yard dash, and chin-ups, Those contestants setting records in the different events and grades are as follows: David Esparza, First grade, chin-ups, 171 Thomas Hammond, First Grade, softball throw, 77'2 p Curtis Lindsey, First grade, broad jump, 7'9 g Debbie Walton, Second grade, chin-ups, 17, Ar- turo Esparzo, Second grade, chin-ups,1'7g Randy Skaggs, Second grade, softball throw, 105'3 : Billy Wilson, Fourth grade, softball throw, 142'7 g Kenneth Askew, Fifth grade, 25-yard dash, 5.1 sec ondsg and Manuel Martine z, Seventh gr ad e, softball throw, l84'4 g 100-yard dash, 12,5 secondsg and Marty White, Fourth grade, broad jump, l1'l0 . School Rooms Take on 6NeW Look' Mine's the prettiest one of all, say each of these Fourth Grade girls, Susan Lawhon, Lena Autrey, Vicke Richardson, Lynn Fought, and Lillian Autrey, Toy Land U.S.A. set up shop right in the school rooms for one very special day in January.
