Raider On The Roof 1st Season For The Man On The Roof In his first season, Vr e Roof Raider waved a red flag when Tech was on offense and a black flag when Tech was on defense. To increase spirit at football games, marketing director Dick Murray introduced the Roof Raider, who stood on top of Jones Stadium ' s north athletic offices during games.
