Yearbook sales went Up, Up, and Awayw in the Tiger campaign, held early in the month. Several Texas High students became television L'stars -a half-hour program about the Reading Lab was taped for a local station. Harmony among the student body was improved by the formation of the Interracial Commission. Many Juniors became actors and actresses as rehearsals began for the November performances of the ,Iunior play, Ask Any Girlf' FRENCH CLUB members Carol Neal, Mary Pirkey, Fran Wortham, ,Ian Loveall, Susan White, and Donna Lindsey enjoy the October wiener roast at Spring Lake Park. 27
