Tigereffes support team on and off field NGO. TIGERS. CO! was the 'theme song of the Tigerettes this year. A brand. spanking-new organization, the Tigerettes made this year's athletic events more exciting than ever. A united screaming body. the Tigerettes combined their lungs to yell the big Tigers on to victory. This year the girls began some new Customs that will. no doubt. remain for years In come. The hilarious stunts in pep rallies . . . the big orange avenue,, of girls through which the players ran before every game . . . these are now well established traditions. Long hours of practice were necessary for a finished per- formance. and it took money to buy uniforms and pay for out-of-town trips to games. but the Tigerettes always came through. proving their devotion to their team and their school. and more than achieving their goal to boost school spirit.
