Text from Pages 1 - 104 of the 1959 volume:
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are loslng the1rs and blamxng It on you
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you
But make allowance for thelr doubtlng too
If you can wa1t and not be t1red by wa1t1ng
Or bexng hed about don't deal 1n l1es
Or bemg hated don't gxve way to hatxng
And yet don't look too good nor talk too w1se
If you can dream and not make dreams your master
If you can th1nk and not make thoughts your a1m
If you can meet w1t.h Tnumph and Dmsaster
And treat those two 1mpostors just the same
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Tw1sted by knaves to make a trap for fools
Or watch the thuzgs you gave your l1fe to broken
And stoop and bu1ld 'em up w1th worn out tools
If you can make one heap of all your wxnmngs
And r1sk lt on one turn of p1tch and toss
And lose and start aga1n at your beg1nn1ngs
And never breathe a word about your loss
To serve your turn long after they are gone
And so hold on when there 1S noth1ng 1n you
Except the W1ll whlch says to them 'Hold on'
If you can talk wxth crowds and keep your vxrtue
Or walk Wlth Kxngs nor lose the common touch
If nexther foes nor lov1ng frxends can hurt you
If all men count w1th you but none too much
If you can f1ll the unforg1v1ng mlnute
W1th s1xty seconds' worth of d1stance run
Yours 1S the Earth and everythxng that's 1n xt
And Wh1Ch IS more you'll be a Man my son'

Ca pta in Robert Hickey
1958 was a hard fighting season with many
setbacks. This young hard hitting team
with only five seniors had potential and
proved it in the Wilmington game as it bur
ied them 33 to 14. The following seniors,
Captain Robert Hickey, Fred Pennino,
Richard Landers, Barry Gougeon, and Rob-
ert Busch played their best. There were
three members honored by being placed on
the Lowell All Suburban lst team: Captain
Robert Hichey, guardg Fred Pennino,
tackleg and Richard Weddleton, halfback.
For their sincere effort a.nd hard work we
thank them and wish them the best of luck.
