Your teachers, as always, have stressed the so-called three R's .. reading, writing, and arithmetic, hut they have also placed equal emphasis on history, English, spelling, health habits, character building, and all the other things calculated to make happy, useful, successful citizens. Please feel free to visit your school and work with your teachers and principal. You are an indispensable part of the team. Together we are building the future of our com- munity and of America. Various groups took part in the programs for the Carnival and the assemblies. High School girls Glee Club plan to enter the Clinic sponsored by the Jefferson County Music teachers association, if the date can be agreed upon by the schools paticipating. Paula June McKinley and Bessie Phelps represented Terral School by furnishing a pat of the entertainment at the county teachers meeting. We have won numerable honors of which one was a Reserve Grand Champion Lamb shown by Bobby Joe Kirby. Another is the Area Livestock Judging Contest at Wichita Falls, Texas, which we took first honors. Our Land Judging team won the Jefferson County contest and went on to the Ardmore Land Judging Contest then on to Oklahoma City. We wish to thank all of you men who took an interest in us and bought animals at the County Livestock Sale last spring. After the Spring Shows were all over last year we had a box supper and put the proceeds into a Father and Son Banquet, which we feel like was a great success. We are looking forward to having another banquet this year. WIQYICB G X O 1 I X, W 1 f Hwy f X I ,-gp ,WM il 211,20 'Z f MZ ff 'ff . fl S FN-ITU?-2 Pvc.
