The threefold purpose of Delta Kappa is stated as: First, to recognize men who have at- tained a high standard of efficiency in collegiate activities and to inspire others to strive for conspicuous attainments along similar lines; second, to bring together the most representative men in all phases of collegiate life and thus to create an organization which will help to mould the sentiment of the institution on questions of local and intercollegiate interest; and third, to bring together members of the faculty and student body of the institution on a basis of mutual interest and understanding. Delta Kappa recognizes and encourages achievement in five major phases of campus life β scholarship; athletics; student government, social and religious affairs; publications; and speech, music, drama, and the other arts. Student membership is limited to three per cent of the male enrollment of the junior and senior classes. 66 !mCart m Newmift oW - gMΒ yii 33 m BuRdogt growl 3 β Athletics 1 Bulldogs ' 66- ' 67 Record TWC Opponents rWC Opponents 71 101 75 70 85 83 93 73 84 65 70 77 50 63 78 87 Georgetown 68 Davis Elkins 62 Biscayne 52 Valdosta State 66 +Tusculum 66 + Milligan 59 Fla.
