DEAN OF THE COLLEGE ROBERT C. MILDRAM, Ph.D. In chapel on January 10, President Martin announced the appointment of Dr. Robert C. Mildram as Academic Dean of the College, effective March 1, 1958. Coming to Wesleyan from the campus of Rutgers University, Dr. Mildram was edu- cated at the University of Vermont, Andover Newton Theological School, Columbia University, and Yale University, from which institution he holds the Doctor of Philosophy Degree. Having served as pastor, teacher, writer, and administrator, Dr. Mildram brings a rich and varied background to his new position. We welcome Dr. and Mrs. Mildram and their three children to the campus and to Alliens, and we look forward to a long and fruitful association.

In particular, Mr. Harry Coble is working toward the development of a program in drama which will give interested stu- dents an opportunity to participate in all phases of the theatre.
