IdERNER - PFE IFFER LIBRARY TEHNESSEE WESLEYAN COLLEGE ATHEVS. TENNESSEE Ou% CUPt lCU A HOME AWAY FROM HOME I 1 edic Uco4t To Dr. Leroy A. Martin, the Senior Class makes this de- dication from the very depths oF their hearts. Although he has been with us for only a few months, vvc have all already learned to love his genuineness and unending interest in the lives of young people who are just on the threshold of Life. Dr. Martin is always there to e.xtend a guiding hand in order that during our lives we may contribute something worthwhile to our fellow man. Although our lives must be disciplined both physically and mentally. Dr. Martin administers this discipline in such a way that we never recognize that which is uninviting about discipline. Tennessee Wcsleyan College Bulldogs certainly came out on the top this football season with six victories and onlv three defeats. Four of these si.x ictorics were run away ball games with Wesleyan in the lead. Through splendid sportsmanship and well -organized teamwork these victories were brought about. Although the men in the line are seldom mentioned, they are the ones who pa e the way for the backfield. These backfield men must be hard-fi hting and determined. 82 1950 SCHEDULE We Opponent They 12 East Tennessee State College 26 St. Bernard, Alabama 6 Middle George College 13 T. P. I.
