in RECOGNITION With the most widespread and destructive war in history raging, many students and alumni of Tennessee Wesleyan College have answered the call to serve in the armed service of their country. To these men and women, we dedicate the 1943 Nocatula. It is fitting and proper that we should do this, because never before in history have so many owed so much to a group as is now representing the United States in the fight for liberty and justice the world over. Wherever you are — whether on land, on sea or in the air — we salute you, Wesleyan men and women, who as soldiers, sailors, airmen, nurses, WAACS or WAVES, are defending the democratic way of life in the true spirit of service which Wesleyan has taught you.
