Prologue The Campus . . . Tennessee is proud of this institution ol 1 e a r n i n g-Tennessee Polytechnic Institute. Tennessee Tech, as it is called by its students, is a coeducational, state supported college, lo- cated on the Highland Rim, between Nashville and Knoxville. This was the year that an architectural reno- vation program was completed on campus. YVith the remodeling of the Administration Building, each of the earlier structures on cam- pus have either been substantially altered or had a new front put on them so they would har- monize with the Georgian architecture here. The 'iGolden Eagle, well known to the Tech students for its removal from the Mont- eagle Mountain, is to Find a new nest atop the newly altered and enlarged Administration Building. It will be perched there as a symbol of Tech and it progress. THERE ARE VERY 'few places In ihe sl:a'ce which have a more DELIGHTFUL climate than Cookeville'
