Will Fane Waterman We, the Seniors of Tennessee High School, City of Bristol, County of Sullivan, State of Tennessee, being of sound mind, good health and generous disposition, and realizing the nearness of our departure, do hereby declare this our last will and testament. First: To the Faculty we bequeath our sincerest gratitude for their untiring efforts and our undying apprecia- tion for bearing with us these many years. Second: To our faithful advisers, Miss Billie Baxter, Miss Reveley Owen, and Miss May Roberson we leave our deepest gratitude for their helpfulness and enduring patience. Third: To the Freshmen and Sophomores, we will the respect and admiration with which we are held by the entire faculty, also our dignity and ability to cope with all situations. Fourth: To the Juniors our personal bequests as follows: I, Nancy ALLEN, leave to FRANCES BOwERS my golden locks and various hair styles. I, MArjorIE BARKER. will twirling baton and snappy strut to any Junior who would like to take my place as majorette. J, ELLAREE BEATY, being an enthusiastic fizzical femme, will all my gymnastic inclinations and my gym suit to MARGARET HANEY and Aupra Fine. IJ, PAT BOWMAN, bequeath my golden voice to PEGGy Wootwine. I, EpYTHE HuLL, leave my dimples and winning smile to BILL POOLE with these words: ‘For that naturally brighter smile, use Ipana for massage twice daily.” I, Bitt Kine, leave my ability to turn feminine hearts into tail-spins to ARLIE Grimes. I, JuNE SPARGER, leave my only weapon, my smile, to BENNy Powers. I, LAuRA ANN KING, bequeath my mid-night oil to PAuL MorReE Lt, assuring him it is the secret process which produces 90’s on report cards. I, Betty Pippin, leave my intelligence to my brother, BILL, with hopes he may someday graduate. We, STUART HARKRADER and HENRY PETERS, will to CARL GALLIHER and JAcK Morton and HAYDEN LAMBERT part of our boundless energy. I, Dotry TuRNER, bequeath my photogenic face to BETTy BARKER. I, MAry Lynn Haynes, bequeath to HowELL ARTHUR my dignity and poise. We, ALBERT PROFFIT and ANN FAUCETTE, will our charming personalities and friendly dispositions to ELttis HARR and BILL Nicar. I, LEE SPAULDING, a promising young student (especially when it comes to promises), leave my excess knowl- edge to WANDA Hunt, KATHLEEN Scott, and LAuREL BOWMAN. We, AILEEN Hopsps and MasBeL CAwoop, students of D. O., will our industrious attitudes to JummMiE FeELty, MARY FRANCES GREENE, and VIRGINIA JONES. I, DorA MAE SLAGLE, leave my method of the “hunt and peck” system to Doris DAvipDSON and KATHERINE WATSON. I, JEAN PATRICK, bequeath my excess hair to JANE GLAVIN and Bos Jones. I, BARBARA RUTHERFORD, will my scientific atti- tude to Inez CurisTIAN. I, VivIAN VANCE, bequeath my “flaming” tresses to CORNELIA BUCHANAN and Annie McNeEw. I, Doris Hocxett, leave my way with the Virginia High boys to Betty ARNOLD. We, VICTOR OBENSHAIN and JIM CROCKETT, will our excess ‘altitude’ to JImMy Cross and RICHARD Newsome. I, Betty Lou CAMPBELL, leave my joke- book of 1,000 jokes to FRANK WINSTON so he won't have to tell the same one every time. We, DorotHy BuNN and WaNDA Morton, bequeath to Dottie Gooxin part of our knowledge of shorthand, hoping she will become a capable secretary. I, PAuL MCCLELLAN, leave my angelic curls and smile to Bossy BALL and BicKLEy Foster. I, AUDREY Doak, will my talent as a fiddler to JANE Carson. I, Nancy JANE Gray, bequeath my charming personality and ability to make friends to Betsy Bowers and Mary Hamrick. I, JEAN MORPHEW, leave my Palmolive soap to Mary AMELIA COPENHAVER and Patty ANN FRIZzzELL to keep those school-girl complexions. I, MARJORIE BIRDWELL, bequeath my ability to become engaged to Peccy J. RussELL, CHARLIE HARKINS, and SHIRLEY WHITEHEAD. I, JOANNA BOousH, leave to LAWRENCE CARRIER my quiet, timid, disposition. We, Doris CARTER and MARTHA Comps, leave our service men’s addresses to TEENY MoTTERN a nd Mary Comps, hoping they'll keep up the good work. I, Jim Cowan, leave my contagious grin to Birt Boaz. I, FRANK BIRDWELL, bequeath to BUNKER BuRROW and TOM STOKES my seat in the Physics laboratory—aiso all knowledge of electricity. We, MARTHA CRUMLEY, FLORENCE THOMAS, and LuCILLE Lippo, leave a portion of our quietness to DARLENE GENT, ANNETTE JOHNSON, and PEARL LITTLETON. I, LILLIAN HENDRICKS, will my habit of a daily purchase of an ice cream bar to any Junior who wants to make a hit with Mrs. Cowan. I, SELMA IzzEDDIN, leave to BETTY HARDIN my attractive and numerous clothes. We, OLEEN SAYLER and Doris Owen, will our lipsticks and art of make-up to Betty McCary, ELIzABETH ANN RICHARDS, EDNA MINNICK and MARGUERITE McNew. I, DAN McCrary, the math shark of the Senior Class, bequeath to Bit HAssINGER my slide-rule. I, LorRENE BLEvINs, leave my vast knowledge and leve of English to Birr DoGGetr and WALTER MILLER.
