CLASS COLORS Blue and Gold x I SENIOR CLASS POEM Thoughts prom a Mice Heart F our dreams, four hopes, four fears— Realized and wrapped in shining years. For friends, for fun, for strife They ll never be surpassed throughout our life. These mark our hope, our trust— The living of a life long planned— A beginning of our fate. We leave the child to take men’s stand. We were wistful freshmen When first we tested Viking creed. As Seniors now we go forth To meet the future's willful need. So, come on, New, Strange, Life! We've learned to wait and labor long. We're Youth, with four great years To keep us true and strong. —BuRNETTE Morris oT Ke ob bk CLASS QUEEN MAID OF HONOR Elizabeth Ann Repass Judy Rucker

These pages tell but feebly of the joys and privileges that have been ours. Through end- less toil we have struggled, sometimes slowly, sometimes more rapidly; but whatever came it only cemented our friendship more firmly. Some of our number have already given themselves to the service of our country and now we, too, stand ready to give whatever life asks of us. To those we leave behind, we say, To those who heard our country’s a ; call Make use of life and time today. And did not come to school this fall, Be strong, be loyal and upright, To you, in air, on land, on sea— e Good luck!
