Their program- began -even.before the OFFICERS start of the fall semester, helping in the gigantic freshman President Norman Grossman orientation program. The football season brought Booster- V. -P ' 'A R b . . we resz en .,... ..,. ...... o e rt McCaifery sponsored pep rallies, which featured members of the foot- Secretm Elaine Bums ball team and coaching staff. Moving pictures of the team's Treasurgg 4 i al-01 n Cook games were a weekly Boosters feature. y Glamour and pageantry were added to the campus when Boosters co-sponsored a Homecoming Queen con- test. Annette Moshen was crowned Homecoming Queen during half-time ceremones at the Syracuse game. The second semester saw the annual penny preak- ness run off by Boosters. Undergrads matched penny for Y' penny down the Watt st. course for the benefit of the Sal- Eii' ' vation Army. Boosters also sponsored Tradition Week which acquainted students with the customs and tradiions of the University. - After the election of new officers in February, Boost- N ers' annual dinner for the Committee of Ten, the organize- W u tion s guiding body, was held at the University Club.
