We also continue to enjoy having the main campus students join us for their required and elective rotations. The ANCC is the nation's largest and foremost nursing crcdentialing organization and the 4-year Magnet designation is the highest level of recognition that the ANCC can extend to healthcare organizations. In 2007. The Western Pennsylvania Hospital was as named one of the country's 100 Top Hospitals for cardiovascular care, based on the results of the 2007 Cardiovascular Benchmark for Success Study. The study, commissioned by Thomson Healthcare (which last year acquired Solucient. LLC, and its longstanding Solucient 100 Top Hospitals program), examined the performance of nearly 1.000 U.S. hospitals in treating congestive heart failure and heart attacks.
