THE INDIAN 1964 TEKONSHA COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL Tekonsha, MichiganIt is with a deep sense of gratitude and pride that we, the Tekonsha Annual Staff, dedicate this annual to the 1963-1964 teaching staff of Tekonsha High. By sharing their patience and wisdom with each of us, they have helped us become better persons. We especially appreciate their enthusiastic support to our organizations and extracurricular activities; they were always willing to advise and counsel any who desired it. We feel that this school is especially fortunate in having a faculty of such superior quality. The faculty works uncomplainingly, with little recognition, pounding knowledge into the impenetrable depth of the student’s head. They are the core - the heartbeat of any school system. For their devotion and guidance to our students and school, we will always be grateful.School Board 0 STANDING, from Left to right: Clyde Shedd, Robert Bowling, Fred Thenen, Howard Main. This is what Ruthy Jaime says about Tekonsha. Ruthy is a native of Santiago. Chile, a city of two million people. She has lived there all of her seventeen years. She is now living with the Clare Martinson family as an exchange student. Ruthy completed her high school education in Santiago in December of 1963. She was a student at the "Liceo Experimental Manuel de Salas," an experimental school under the direction of the University of Chile. Ruthy speaks English very well, but until now has never spoken it outside the classroom. Ruthy attends most all of the activities of the school, church, and community. During her stay in Tekonsha she has made many friends and actually become a part of the community. I am sure that after Ruthy returns to Chile in July she will miss her American friends as much as we will miss her. Ruthy is the first exchange student Tekonsha has had, and I know everyone has enjoyed having her with us for the past seven months.Mike Abel Vivian Banks Charles Berry Jerry Brawner Dennis Bush Charles Bush Marsha Carney Carol Case beer John Copeland Edith Crawford John Davis Ruth Densmore David Doolittle Mike Ewers David Goheen Tom Graham Melissa Houvener Bernadette Katz Gretchen Kowalski Carol Lee Eighth Grade Dennis Palmatier Kay Patton Mike Reese Tom Rounds John Sanford Penny Shaffer Sally Shumway Wanda Summers Andy Stemaly Linda Thatcher Fred Thenen Ann Thornton Mary Vanderpool Clifton Voshen Diana Walker Randy Waltz John Weimer Richard Whitcomb Danny Woolf Delores YatesSeventh Grade Raymond Ball Janet Camp Phil Cavinder Gary Crawford Wayne Cox Diane Doolittle Owen Drudge Rhonda Duty Inez Fousel Donald Holevenski Cheryle Hughes Nancy Jackson Suzanne Jordon Craig Leatherbury Brenda Lloyd James Lindsey Susan Macomber Joseph Millard Jacqueline Miller Dianne Palmatier Ray Potter Leland Putman Linda Putman Terry Ragina Cynthia Reincke Kathleen Richards Tim Richards Kenneth Russell Lester Shaffer Keith Shedd Jeffry Sherwood Dean Sizemore Patty Smith Richard Stuart David Swick Elaine True blood Mike Waffle Donna Walters Robert Whitcomb John Winter Russell Woods F.F.A.
