We look backward and see the winding road that has brought - us here. We look forward toward a limitless future waiting just around the bend. Gratefully we remember those who first tread Tehachapi I-Iigh's path. They established the traditions and blazed the trail for us. We pick up our packs and walk purposefully onward. There is much that still must be done and the trail is beckoning. E , ff' J Top Left. YOLANDA VASQUEZ, EDITOR Bottom Left. JANETTE SANDERS ASSISTANT EDITOR a 6 0 0 v Y Upper Center. Techinal Crew. H Last year when I found that I had been finally placed with an American family, Teha- chapi was an unpronounceable, unknown town, far away in mat sunshine state of Califor- nia. I also had little or no idea of my future family or school life there. All these unknowns materialized in the nicest possible way. I im- mediately loved my new family, and was warmed by the very real welcome ex- tended to me by everyonelmet. I have grown to know and love this school, the commun- ity and the beautiful golden hillsg and when the time comes I know that Ishall be real- ly sad to leave them. l want to thank everyone for making me so happy here, and for making this the most rewarding and memorable year of my life. The Staff has shown good organization and the will to work together to preform this difficult task. Only a few people realize the amount of time and work that is involved for a group to put out a successful Yearbook as the Annual Staff of Tehachapi High School has done. I hope that this hard work and dedication has been a memorable experience and will benefit each of you ln whatever field you wish to pursue. I am sure the student body and faculty of Tehachapi High School feel the same way about this fine Yearbook as I do. Albert G. Roberts, Principal Vice Principal l would like to congratulate this year's student body and faculty for a fine school year. The pride shown by the student body in the school and in themselves is exemplified in this year's Tomahawk. To the seniors who will be leaving Tehachapi H191 School I hope-the knowledge you have gained and the experience you have had while at Tehachapi High School help you in your future life. To the Annual staff and Mr. Anderson I would like to extend congratulations on this year's Tomahawk. The imagination and work that went into producing this yearbook show in the finished product.
