THIRD KEY CLUB Key Club is an organization for sophomore, junior, and senior boys who are in the upper half of the school scholastically. It is primarily a service organization, although they combine service with pleasure. For money-making projects the club sponsored a dance early in the fall and handled concessions at a basketball game. They served as waiters for the F.H.A. and Y-Teen Banquets. The organization is sponsored by Kiwanis and works closely with them. They have one regular business meeting and a luncheon meeting each month. Often there is a speaker at the luncheon meeting, and occasionally some Kiwanians visit Key Club as Key Clubbers visit Kiwanis. 10

Later, they were the hostess for the annual Y-Teen District Fall Conference. They held a Christmas party for pre-school children and decorated Christmas trees for some members of the community. They sponsored the Heart Fund Drive and celebrated Heart Sister Week which ended with a banquet. They also helped with the Easter Egg Hunt. The annual Y-Teen breakfast brought their year to a close.
