New Teachers Miss Anderson—Replacing Miss Baker in the Clothing and Foods Department, Miss Anderson has attended Southern Illinois University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree. Having taught last at East Jordon Michigan, Miss Anderson has been spending her summers attending Michigan State University. Miss Anderson Mr. Ferraro—Mr. Ferraro attended AIC, where he obtained his BA and Westfield State College, where he received his Masters in Education. Before coming to Tech, Mr. Ferraro taught at Duggan Junior High School. Mr. Ferraro is a valuable addition to our history department. Mr. Ferraro Mr. Stratton—A new member to Tech’s teaching staff this year is Mr. David Stratton. Mr. Stratton has taken over the duties of Mr. Foley as a boys gym instructor. Previous to his appointment to the Tech faculty, he taught at Buckingham Jr. High School and also coached all the junior high sports. Mr. Stratton attended American International College and The University of Miami where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree. Mr. Stratton Mrs. Thomas—Mrs. Thomas, a new addition to the English department at Tech, received her A.B. in English at AIC. Having previously taught at Duggan Jr. High, Mrs. Thomas also attended Univ. Of Conn. and Our Lady of the Elms. f chads . Mrs. Thomas Mr. Earl Erikson, a new member to the English and history departments at Tech this year, describes the school as lively and spirited. Graduating from Worcester State College, he later went to Westfield State College where he earned his Master’s in Education. He also attended Springfield College where he received his C.A.G.S. Mr. Erikson recently taught at Buckingham Junior High School. Mr. Erikson Replacing Miss Hilliker in 211 this year is Mrs. Meadows. She attended Florida A M University, where she earned her bachelor of arts in English and social studies. Her last teaching assignment was at Lincoln Park Academy in Fort Pierce, Florida. When asked her opinion of Tech she stated, “I feel the administration and faculty are dedicated members of their profession and are working toward a common goal—the improvement and education of Technical High School and its students.” Mrs. Meadows 28
