Warner Gail M. Berte Heading the Tech Parade is the outstanding Senior girl -- Gail M. Berte, winner of the annual Charles F. Warner Achievement Medal. Gail is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Berte of 142 Robert Dyer Circle. Her three years at Tech are characterized by an unusual degree of leadership, scholarship, and service to the school. In leadership, she has given unselfishly of her time and effort for three years as an elected member of 28 the Student Council, serving as vice-president this year. In class affairs, she has taken an active part in committee work. In scholarship, she ranks 28th in her class and has been a member of the National Honor Society all three years. In school service, her contributions have been many, including Tantrums, science fairs, and assemblies. A well-deserved fanfare for Gail Berte!

Achievement John Sullivan Heading the Tech Parade is the outstanding Senior boy -- John Sullivan, winner of the annual Charles F. Warner Achievement Medal. John is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Sullivan of 47 Worcester Avenue. He typifies the ideal Tech boy by his excellence in both sports and scholarship. He has been a member of the football squad for three years, co-captaining the team this year. Scho- lastically, John is ranked 15th in his class and has maintained National Honor status for the three years. Service-wise, he has been a member of the Student and Corridor Patrols for three years, fulfilling the duties of captain of the Student Patrol this year. A well-deserved fanfare for John Sullivan!
