Ibglvlzglviy of the Clary of 195134 WTlflL7l by HAZEL WHITE assisted by MARGARATE BORTLE HREE years ago there entered this beloved institution of knowl edge the distinguished class of 'SSM about 250 strong Of course some have dropped out but losses come to every class Ch but little did we know then that ours wis to be a depression class Up to our senior year we stumbled over the tough spots and were praised by Miss Edna Marston Mr E Hesselton and Mr Robert Stout whose place was taken by Mr Lawrence during our Iunior year In the latter part of our freshman year although vue were a bit timid we elected officers to serve for the year and later held our first class meet ing Our officers were as follows President Fred Dearborn a most faithful and hard working young fellow Vice president Kenneth Blaisdell 1 popular student Treasurer Charles ahnig who got his start in business by handling the funds of our class Secretary Gordon Inglehart Member at Large Harry Fradette Girls Athletic Manager Betty Lindsay' Boys Athletic Manager Kenneth Steup. With these capable officers we thought for sure that our class was bound to be a successful and prosperous one. But then it goes to show that Ig norance Is Bliss for our troubles were just about to begin. At the next class meeting there was considerable confusion when the members of the class signed the constitution at a cost of twenty tive cents an initiation fee. We soon discovered that this vxas just the beginning of our troubles. So we dismissed it as just one of those things . We entered our junior year with a determination to fight any obstacle that might come our vxay. We started vxith our social affairs. This year we had our first dance which vve called an 'Arbor Dance' though we planted T s instead of trees, this was our lucky dance number. At this dance our group picture was taken and it appeared in the Tech Tiger the following une. 128.- V - 'V 7 war uf: ters can ar m as IE Lisa I I V I I 1 . . 2 T l sb - .'N'l 7 . , g a . our worthy class advisers when we needed it.
