They are awarded semifannually on the judgment of a committee consisting of two alumni, four faculty members, two representatives from each of the 12A and 12B classes, and the 11A class president, to the boy and girl in the graduating class who have shown outstanding attributes in scholf arship, citizenship, and leadership. These medals not only recognize scholarship, but other characteristics necessary to success. This much prized award stands as a living memorial to Charles F. Warner, the founder and first principal of the school. ThreefYear Honors, a Tech tradition, are won by those students who have done outstanding workin their studies at Tech. However, in making these awards, school citizenship and school spirit are also considered. The honors are based on oilice records together with the vote of the faculty. ll19ll
