The annual May Pete, clirnaxing the year's school activities, was given under the able direction of Miss Alfreda Mapes. It was held in the school gymnasium May 25. This year the theme of the May Pete was a colorful one-a feud between Spring and King Winter, which was settled by symbolic dances of various nations. The main event Was, of course, the crowning of the May Queen, Matilda Marsaglia, elected by Vote of the entire student body. Her first and second Maids of Honor were Dorothy Gardner and Patty Steele, respectively.
