The KEYETTES, a service
organization, worked hard this
year on special projects. The
girls sold Homecoming mums,
sponsored the powder puff
football game and decorated
the winning float for the queen
and her court. Other projects
included working at a spook
house on Halloween, selling
Perchville buttons, and helping
out with the Special Olympics.
They also worked with the
American Cancer Society,
planted flowers and raked in the
The KEY CLUB sponsored many
special projects during the school
year. THey had a school dance
which was held at the East Tawas
Community Building, and then
held a Halloween party for the
little ones. They also put up the
Christmas decorations at the City
parks, and then had a tree lighting
ceremony in which the pep band
played Christmas songs. To round
out their activities, they held a

This year, the STUDENT
COUNCIL consisted of six
seniors, five juniors, four
sophomores, three freshmen and
four appointed members. The
Student Council supported
many activities during the
school year. These activities
included dances, banquets, and
donations to the Muscular
Dystrophy Foundation and the
Special Olympics Fund. The
Student Council did a good job
and had a successful year.
This year, the NATIONAL
HONOR SOCIETY earned
scholarship funds under the
leadership of Jerry Gracik

several spaghetti dinners and
ran a continuous newspaper
drive during the entire year.
