The KEYETTES, a service organization, worked hard this year on special projects. The girls sold Homecoming mums, sponsored the powder puff football game and decorated the winning float for the queen and her court. Other projects included working at a spook house on Halloween, selling Perchville buttons, and helping out with the Special Olympics. They also worked with the American Cancer Society, planted flowers and raked in the springtime. The KEY CLUB sponsored many special projects during the school year. THey had a school dance which was held at the East Tawas Community Building, and then held a Halloween party for the little ones. They also put up the Christmas decorations at the City parks, and then had a tree lighting ceremony in which the pep band played Christmas songs. To round out their activities, they held a candy sale. Bottom row, left to right: Pam Novik, Roberta Richter, Sue Whitford Kathy Machleit, Lori Grabow, Bev Staudacher, Mary Galavage.
