Homecoming Princes: Glenda Wilkerson, Sharon Roberts, Beverly Harper. Homecoming Queen: Sharon Roberts Tappahannock High School held its seventh annual Homecoming on October 31 and November 1. To begin the activities of Homecoming Weekend there was a parade through the town with floats, bands, and the princesses. Following the parade the mighty warriors met the Tigers of Washington and Lee for the Homecoming football game. During the half-time of the game, the principal, Mr. Wilson, welcomed the guests, friends, alumni, and students. The winning floats were announced. The 1st place float was the eight grade, second place went to the eleventh grade, and the third to the Senior Class.
