Among the most important of their ac- tivities were the three concerts and the eight home basketball games at which the band played to support the team. Even though a large part of our band consists of junior high students, they have come a long way since the beginning of the year and have contributed to our success. The members participated in the Tama County Band Festival at Toledo along with the other bands of the county. At contest this year the band received a divi- sion lll rating. Nancy Kensinger, our flag twirler, received a division l rating at the marching band contest and the other three twirlers received division ll ratings.
