Fiala, L. Riffle, Juniorsg C. Zhorne, and R. Wentziens,Sopho- mores, This years basketball team was inexperienced, but in spite of this, were a better team than their record might indicate. A great number of games were lost byavery small margin which is the result of inexperience. The winning of these games could have made the season a successful one. This years team had good team spirit, were aggressive and willing to work. An individual highlight of the season was the play of Sophomore G. Zhorne, high scorer for the season. Also the play of another Sophomore R. Wentzien, handicapped by afootball injury. These Sophomores were placed on the Second All Conference selections and teaming with Doran, Crabtree, Fiala, and Riffle plus some outstanding boys up from this years Junior Varsity should bring an optornistic future in view for Tama basketball. ll '59 C Crnbt ee H Cum fav D Frxcke L Rlffle D Garwood X V Flala my Jacobsen if Z N G1bson Wemzlen 63 Doran Zhorne Q! , - la- 8 ' . 1 1' .., 1 .
