BEN IONES A. M. QUINTARD B.S.. Coe College B.A., Buena Vista College M.A., University of Iowa M.A., University oi Iowa Superintendent Principal ADMINISTRATION Tama is one of the many schools that are giving all they can for Victory even though it means giving up teachers. Many schools were forced to do this same thing: therefore these vacancies were difficult to fill. Mr. R. A. Cross was the first teacher who had to go: Miss Eleanore Beatty stepped in and took up his baton. Athletes and sport ians alike were saddened at the departure of Coach Harold Hoskins for the Army. Assistant Coach Rogers filled in the vacancy. Kenneth Wittcop was trans- ferred irom the grade to the high school and Mrs. Muriel Bro took his place in the Central School. All went well until March when Mr. Wittcop was called for service. This time Mrs. Elaine Thomp- son filled his position. One of the latest recruits is Priscilla Lyon who joined the Waves! Despite all these changes the school year has moved along on schedule and the highest of praise should go to those who have made it do so.
