V, lunior Class Play Early To Bed! Early To Rise! was the title of the comedy presented by the Iunior Class this year. The entire play was chuck-full of laughs -from Everett's inventions to Patsy's pets The entire cast did a commendable piece of work and Miss Beard should be congratulated for her fine directing. Eddie, a boy of seventeen, was marked for tragedy because someone had signed Ed's name and address to an essay by Mathew Hall that Eddie was using for style and entered it in a contest. When it was revealed that Eddie's essay was a first place win- ner, the trouble began. The judging committee finally discovered that the paper was not Eddie's original, and a reform school term was threatened. The whole Barry family moaned and wailed over the misfortune, except Ann, Eddie's best girl friend, who stood by him. The judges agreed to award the prize to the second place winner, which happened to be Eddie's original. As every good story or play ends, , they lived happily ever after. Miss Alberta Bond, the director, and the cast should be complimented upon the success of the play. William Barry ,il,.,,... Grace Barry ....
