Floyd Tubb Dedication No two people have ever influenced a school or its students as much as these two have influenced Tahoka High School. They have each sponsored the National Honor Society and for several years were co-sponsors of the senior class. Each is interested in the students and the welfare of the school, as well as being an excellent teacher. Both are fine Christian people and are active in their church activities. Whenever they are called upon to perform a task, that task is done well. It is with all sincerity that the staff dedicates the 1959 Kennel to Mrs. Lillian Bartley and Mr. Floyd Tubb. B te on Our high school career is a joumey filled with memories. In your 1959 Kennel the staff members have striven to collect all those treasured memories of this year and give them to you under one cover. I wish to express my deepest thanks to Mrs. Wood for her tolerance and patience. I also wish to thank Mr. L. F. "Red" jurecka,ou.r representative from the Steck Company, for his reliable help and considera- tion. Words ca.n never express the thanks and gratitude that l feel for my staff. They have done a wonder- ful job indeed, as you will see by looking through your yearbook. The money from our local business men has made the 1959 Kennel possible. More than half of our money for publication was obtained from our business people. Mr. Shepherd and Mr. Spears have been so ready and willing to help in any way they could on picture- taking days and in any other ways they were able to. Now the staff and I present to you your 1959 Kennel. Sincerely, fffifjagfiaw 'Q f ,f - ,J .1,- .. T 1' 3? Q-3 J SE ,X .BM ,pk , i 3. ' 122 Q ff 1 V li -my ,, ,, e, 1 Q . L- ,S W? Such is the case of the office girls in Tahoka High School. They devote their time to assist Mr. Spears and Mr. Shepherd in many office duties. Running up and down the stairs many times each period, collecting absentee slips, taking announce- ments, and ringing bells are just a few of the many responsibilities of these dependable girls. They also help new students to get acquainted and assist the teachers in various ways. Two office girls work together in each period to preform these duties. Each girl ml1St be capable, courteous, and willing to help at all times.
