There is another personage, ---- a personage less imposing in the eyes of some, per- haps insignificant. The schoolmaster is abroad, and I trust to him, armed with his primer, against the soldier in full military array." lf peace is to be enjoyed it is surelyto come through education and understanding of "THE TRUTH." The captain of this army is the teacher, Mrs, Pittman has served as an able and well-equipped officer in this army for over thirty years, During her time of service she has been the found e r of our National Honor Society and Student Council. She has sponsored eleven Kennels and has done a great work as Library Club sponsor. Not only has she striven to make her departments far above standard, but she has given her best in moral and spiritual support to Tahoka High School students. To Mrs. Paul Pittman, this untiring leader, as an expression of gratitude for her service and guidance, the Kennel Staff and the student body wish to dedicate this 1957 Kennel, rg . , gg 1"'x 1 Y ' 1 ' '1 1 F P M 1,311 11X 1,1 1 1111111s1r111011 11111.111rs 1111 11 5111111111011 10 1 S1100 Cf 111 211110 11.11 51 1 1 10 1111 111 " 1 111 1110171- 1It.C1l11O11 O1 K 10111 11 111511 10 LX151'L,SS 1111 1171 111111 .1 11 1111 01 1. 11111 0111111 1 115111.11 1K 11 I'f1511O1l411'111X 1 11111 01111 111 1111111 11111 C1111 1 111111111111 O 111 1 t 11.15 111111 1111 1111011111 Q 13115, 1111 01111115 111111 O111 511011501 1111 xL1d111S L11'11 1 0 KOIL 111 .1111 0 1101111 ., 1Sk11 111111111 111 11111111 N 1 1111, 1 .D X.55OQ1L1- N51 1811 5 11 1111 L11 1 1 1114 51 L. 11011511111 1 OYLK O1 O1 OO L 11011111.11 11111115 111 K, L1 11 1 1 11 1 0 .1 0111 1.71 1 101101 8111111111 101111111 1 X111 11101 11 1111111011 1111N O1l111I111L"11.1X1, 1111111101111 1 W1t 10111 5 0111 1001 i'3u.., J 1 0' L" 4 N 1 . These boys, as well as the rest of the team, worked hard to build the Bulldog squad. Coach Wright and Coach Haralson did much in teaching the boys good sports- manship and fine teamwork, l Two majorettes, Betty Phipps and Linda Williams, do a routine during our homecoming game with Slaton.
