E 3,9 DEDICATIO The children who will enter our high school in future years, those who will take our places walking down the halls of T. H. S., occupying the same room s, climbing the same stairs, will have the same thoughts that we had as we entered our first year of high school. You who are yet to pass through this phase of your life have in store for you the most pleasant years, if you choose to make them such. The thrill of belonging and the close friend- liness which has always been a part of Tahoka High will con- tinue, waiting for you to be com e a. part, waiting for you to catch the spirit. It is to you who have yet to enter Tahoka High School, that we, the staff dedicate this, the 1953 KENNEL. Scott and Hans Stewart rv : Z.1:i .g: . Q . It' b s een hard work but much fun putting it to eth g er. We of the staff will never forge t the pleasant hours working together and hope that through our efforts you won't f ' ' orget this year. Through pictures and captions, we 've tried to record the outstanding and memorable e v e n t s ---the enthusiastic p e p rallies, the football games, the pe al of the victory bells, the band in swing , classes, organizations at work---the spirit and loyalty of the student body of T. H. S. As you look through this K.ENNEL,I hope that fond memories will always be yours as you find your own story behind every picture. To the fourteen members of my staff, I'd like to say a great big Thanks! Your diligent work and unceasing efforts in making this annual a success will be reflected in every page of this book. You're a swell group and should be commended on your work. The staff and I want to thank Mrs. Pittman for her capable leadership as sponsor. Through her thoroughness, understanding, and enthusiasm sh h ' , e as instilled in each of us the incentive to work forthe highest goals in life. Our thanks go to all the businessmen and patrons who very liberally advertised, and were so kind in helping us put out this annual, also to the Steck Company of Austin, and their representative,M.r. Wal- ter Richter, for able guidance in publishing our annual. In leaving T.H.S., may I say that I hope the future editors and staffs of the KENNEL will find th cooperation that we found in the st d e u ent body and faculty. To have worked f of o h or persons as wonderful as all y u, as been a pleasure. Now I join the staff in presenting you the 1953 KENNEI.. QW F w X Q Fi I e L i 'T vii ff' HQ H, .--Q ,. 1 A 1.
