East 34 37 Arvin Though this year's varsity basketball team had a well- balanced first string, they lacked the depth necessary to produce a championship squad. There seemed to be some question as to whether a few of the players were more in- terested in their point standing in the league or the team's success, but Mr. Curti faced the problem with admirable aplomb. The team was generally accepted throughout the league as a hard-playing, determined group of boys. This fact is due to Mr. Curti's fine job of coaching the squad.
