safari' H ' V WT' L' if if' 11 f 4 FY I GIRLS SPORTS ARCHERY Gone are the days of the long-bloomered gal, clumping down a court with size 12 sneaker, middy-blouse waving in the breeze. The girls have taken on more speed, activity and agility in .their sports and have added more and more events to an intramural schedule. .The Syosset High Girl's Intramural Program included the usual volleyball, basketball, softball, and badminton, along with the extras: archery, field hockey and tennis. The girI's varsity and iunior varsity teams were in competition with other schools for the first time and played excellently, giving Syosset High another organization of which to be proud.
