The Division is composed of Machinery Repairmen and Hull Technicians. MR's manufacture precision parts for the intricate machinery onboard. The HT's weld cut, and fabricate steel and other metal structures, and maintain the ship's vital damage control equipment. R Division also trains the repair parties in fire-fighting techniques, nuclear, biological and chemical defense, and firewatches for shipyard periods.
