if , SUPPLY ff a V oFFi CEB i ff' Through the NROTC program at Pennsylvania State University, Commander Jaecques earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and was commissioned an Ensign in June 1958. F He began his career as Navigator and Communications Officer on the ammunitions ship USS MOUNT BAKER QAE-43 until June 1960. Following his first assignment, Commander Jaecques attended Supply Corps School in Athens, Georgia, for seven months. After graduation, he was assigned to the USS BAINIEB fAE-53 as Supply Officer until February 1963. His next assignment was for six months at the Ships Parts Control Center, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania as Assistant Data Processing Officer. From September 1963, Commander Jaecques was Management Analyst and Operations Officer in the Data Processing Department of the Aviation Supply Office in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After that he was assigned in July 1966 to Naval Supply Center Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, as Director, Data Processing Department. He then attended George Washington University and received a Master of Business Administration degree in June 1970. Later the same year, he was assigned to Staff, Commander in Chief U.S.'Atlantic Fleet as Budget Officer and Deputy Comptroller until mid 1974. Commander Jaecques later served as Supply Officer and Comptroller at Naval Education and Training Center, Newport. He stayed in Flhode Island a while longerto spend one year at Naval War College as a student. He then reported aboard USS SYLVANIA fAFS42l as Supply Officer in July 1978. Commander Jaecques is married to the former Veronica D. Carey of Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The Jaecques' have four children: Theresa, 19, Sharon, 183 Michelle, 16 and Flobert, 11.

EXECUTIVE OFFICER Following commissioning in 1962, Commander Fiosson served in various billets in a minessweeper homeported in Sasebo, Japan. After three years involving a variety of Far Eastern minesweeping exercises, including a early pre-war operation in South Vietnam, Commander Rosson attended the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California, earning a degree in Communications Engineering. ln the summer of 1967 he began a tour as Operations Officer in the Newport, Rhode Island homeported ship, USS CROMWELL IDE-10145. This tour was followed by assignment as Communications Officer to COMCRUDESFLOT ELEVEN with deployments to the Seventh Fleet. In 1971 Commander Fiosson took command of USS PLEDGE CMSO-4923 homeported in Long Beach, California. Subsequent to a nine month WESTPAC deployment, Commander Fiosson was relieved in 1973 in time to attend the Command and Staff course at the Naval War College, Newport, Rhode Island. I From 1973 until 1976, Commander Fiosson served as Communications, Operations, and Plans Officer at NAVCOMMSTA Greece, followed by a two year tour at the Defense Communications Engineering Center outside Washington, D.C. Commander Ftosson reported to USS SYLVANIA in September 1978. Commander Fiosson is married to the former Louise Carolyn Lakie of Port Arthur, Texas.
