ight Stuff Gotta have friends Friends. Life would not be the same without them. They share the good times, they share the bad times. Friends comfort and console and bring a person up when he is down. Junior Melissa Cash said that de- pendability is the key to a true friend. A friend is a person you can de- pend on and who is there for you through the good times and the bad, Cash said. Sophomore Harry McMillan said that a friend will stand by you when you need them most. A friend is someone who will be- lieve in you, trust you and be faithful to you. They won't turn their backs and talk about you. he said. If you really want to be a true friend, you should stay out of their business as much as pos- sible and accept their mistakes. Senior Ken Hobbs said. You should try to steer them in the right direction without making them do something. People tend to dislike it when you meddle. Junior Tamika Jones said that her high school friends will def- initely have an impact on her life in the future. I think my friends from high school will carry on later, she said.
