The Bruin has earned its role in the school curriculum in that it provides an excellent opportunity for educational planning in representing the various activities in such a way as to interpret the spirit and life of the school. In illustrating and describing the edu- cational activities of the year, the yearbook helps the parents to understand better the total program of the school as well as providing a souvenir record for students. The Bruin is a student product, with every piece of copy and layout the work of stu- dents. In preparing the yearbook, the students have an outlet for creative expression, advertising and photography experience, as well as preparing a record of school events and interpreting the school to the public.
