Lights, amera, Actionv kiing S. . .v The Photo Club under the advisement of lVlr. Bill Yen- sen had many activities. Besides taking senior cap and gown portraits, the photo club also made football player buttons and sold them around campus. In addition to activities at school the photo also took trips to Yosemite and San Francisco. CC ' Speech IS the Word. The Speech Team was active. Ofhcers were Pres. V. Hardie and V.-Pres, J. Baker and R, Sattiewhite. Jim Baker did well in extemporary speaking while Valerie Hardie and Kelli Frame excelled in oratory and dramatic interpretation. 99 tar Trek' Star Club is for people who are interested in Science Fiction. Many members make their own props from various Sci-Fi shows and movies. Ms. Branch is the advisor. CC 99 Front Page To qualify for the newspaper staff, a student must have one se- mester ofjournalism in high or ju- nior highfor recommendation of English teacher. There were 23 people Hrst semester. Typing was done by Majorie Hager and Lupe Licudine who travel to Del Rey ev- eryday for a week before each is- sue. Printing is done by students in Graphic Arts at Del Rey. This is the Hrst year that all work in- cluding typing, headlines, and ggl g ,, 3,1...,, , ,Q Printing has been done there. Ev- E S e erything in the paper was student work-that means writings, pic- tures, and printing. They chose a new size-magazine size, and ex- perimented with cover, name- plate, and graphics.
