Le Club French Club is organized to pro- mote cultural awareness and appre- ciation of the French language and all its people. Their activities include ice skating parties, French camp, and French Crepe breakfast. Yummy! Officers include Eddie Vales, Pres., Sandy Yeager, Vice Pres., Valarie lVlolner, Secretary, Teresa Fregoso, Treasurer, and Tanya Jones, I.C.C. representative. Row 1, E. Sipin, L. Chunko, C. Young, T. Jones. After completing the Peer Counseling class, peer counselors serve as a median between counselors and stu- dents. Often a student will go to a peer counselor instead of a regular counselor because it is easier for them to talk to someone in their own age group. The peer counselors also have the job of welcoming new students to Sweetwater by showing them around campus, making the transition to Su-Hi easier. There are 30 people in the peer counseling class now preparing to be peer counselors. Whether they will be- come peer counselors is a decision they will make after completing the class.
