ophomore Class History The class had a very successful year under the direction of the Sophomore Class Advisors: Mrs. l-larrang, Mrs. Benson, Miss Kronsteiner, Mr. Werkheiser, Mr. Padclon, Mr. Sutton, Mr. Schmidt, Mr. Wahlstrom, and Mr. Peterson. The class elected the following to be their officers for the year: President, Betty Mackey, Vice President, Jan Tabler, Secre- tary, Charlene Mackey, Treasurer, Eredda Rowley, Program Chairman, Jean Heeter, Sgts, at Arms, Bill Stupin and Gary Jones. We started the year off with a Frosh- Soph. Day in place of initiation. At the encl of the day we had a party for which the freshmen were hosts. Our class made money by sponsoring dances, selling concessions, and 'food sales, all of which were successful. ' Evelyn Brodie and Bob Banke were the Sophomore Class candidates for the TIM- BER ECHO King and Queen. Jean Heeter and Betty Mackey were candidates for Ideal Girl. Bobbie Terwilliger was chosen as mascot of the SHUI-IS Wrestling team, and Joyce Morse was our Girls' League Representa- tive. Glyndale Pipkin and Sally Graves rep- resented us in Colleen Capers.
