Stanley Kline Zaafmfdfg ' The governing body of the Swanton Schools is the above group, the Swanton Board of Edu- cation. President Robert Bowman and the other members of the board set the policy of the school, hire personnel, provide buildings and equipment, and budget the available money. Recently an association of the Boards of Education of Northwestern Ohio was formed to discuss common problems. Swanton's board has been very active in this group, one meeting having been held in the local gym in October. Another change this year was the consoli- dation of the Swanton Tovsmship School with Swan ton Village. Chester Sadowski was elected as a result of the resignation of Durbin Noe. Mr. Sadowski is from the Swanton Township area. As this group serves without salary, let us all appreciate their efforts and accomplishments and we know that, then, they will keep up their good work, nf ADMINISTRATICN ? 1 1 BYRON RADEBAUGH Master ' s Degree Bowling Green State Univ. We started the season with a softball tourn- ament between the Ramblers and the Corvettes This series of games was very interesting from the Corvettes point of view because they won every game. However, the Ramblers tooktheir defeat in stride, proving that the purpose isn't necessarily to win, but to have played a good, clean game. We plan to have volleyball and basketball tournaments in the new gym and possibly play some other schools in this area. Our financial problems are solved by oper- ating concession stands at our home football and basketball games and by sponsoring dances and other activities, The officers were: Bonnie Hagerman, Pres identg Norma Wiles, Vice President, Dawn Tav- tigian. Too bad, girls, he just won't stand still. Well, kids, that is all. I just heard reveille call. Nice dream anyway. Off to break- fast I must go. 41.
