Mom-man what Librarian The Library Club was organized in 1940, The Club was organized at the request of pupils who desired an intellectual activity and one that would promote their scholastic rating in college. They receive 1f2 credit a year in high school for assisting in the library three periods a week. They are prepared for college and to work in the college library. The pupils become accomplished at desk Work, checking in and out books helping pupils, shelv. ing, filing, building up picture collections, research, and library supervision. The organization is composed of the class presidents from each of the upper four classes, two representatives elected at largeg two each from the senior and junior classes, one each from the sophomore and freshman classesg and one from each organization, All members must maintain an average grade of C in all subjects combined. Various committees are appointed and held responsible for special duties such as: shining tro- phies, making poster frames, and obtaining information on the curriculum of other BCh0O1S.
