SMITH To The High School Students: This has been a good year---one of the best. On the outside the winter was rough, but inside these walls glowed the warmth of affection enjoyed by comrades working with a purpose. You have been cooperative, working to equip yourselves for life ahead and to bring honor to our school. I appreciate you for all your good work and fine qualities. This beautiful season of the year brings a tinge of sadness as we bid our Seniors farewell. But we would not change that feature for you Seniors are our men and women of tomorrow so we send you out to take your place in the community with the hope that you will remember this high school experience as your 'Golden Yearsn. In September the class of 1959 will fill the role of Seniors and the class of 1963 will be our welcome newcomers. Through the cooperation of the student body and the faculty may the future bring continued growth and improvement for the Swainsboro High School. Your Friend, i V. E.
