Time Will Tell There it was--big as life. Editor and Art Director, Danny Fisher ! I felt pretty proud to know that he had been in my graduating class back at Sutton High. He had been successful in life and that set me to wonder- ing about my other classmates. The answer? ? a renuion! First, I called Danny and told him how I had gotten the idea. He im- mediately liked the idea and promised to bring along another classmate, Sylvia Desjourdy. Much to my surprise she was head of the reporting department on Danny’s staff and doing nicely. A frequent contribution to the Science section of the same magazine was Howard Watson. He spent much of his time working on scientific problems. The next group of girls was easy to contact. All were doing out- standing work at leading hospitals in the country. Carol Johnson was head nurse at the Children’s Hospital in Boston and doing a splendid job. Phyllis Marble was a laboratory technician at the newly established Sutton Memorial Hospital. The head secretary and receptionist at this same hospital was Marcia Bjork who practiced some nursing in her spare time. The girls were glad for the chance to see all their old friends so they all set out in Marcia’s new Cadillac. Finding George Thibodeau was easy, as he had recently put the fin- ishing touches on my modern ranch home. Billy Chase was his able as- sistant doing the cabinet work. Their Modern Home Construction Com- pany was nationally known. Not far away at Springfield College was Hazel Whittier. I remem- bered how much she liked sports so it would be no surprise to her class- mates when they learned her job was head physical education instructor at the college. Our boy athlete in the Class of ’53, Lanny Goodwin, was playing professional basketball with the Celtics.
