Through much excitement and nervousness we stood backstage waiting for the thrilling moment which would make us actors for a night. of the cupids and hearts were quite appropriate for this special night. So the Class of ’53 has made its records in the annals of history. We are proud of the work we have done together, and though our happy high school years are coming to an end, we are not through learning. This is only the beginning of better things. Here, under the guidance of our ever genial and sympathetic teachers and principal, we have built the foundation for what we may do in the years that lie ahead. There can be no doubt that we shall go on remembering what Sutton has given to us, thus showing our appreciation for what we have acquired from our parents, our faculty, our friends, and S. H. S.
